Located on the coast of North Wales, Bangor is home to around 10,000 students and hosts international students from 85 different countries. Located around 450 km northwest of London, Bangor is only a two-hour train ride from Manchester International Airport and is easily accessible.

Thanks to its coastal location, Bangor University specializes in Ocean Sciences, but also offers strong programmes in Accounting and Finance, Sports Science and Electronic Engineering. Bangor University has a total of 3,000 student residences in two different locations. These halls of residence offer self-catered accommodation options. Students receive free gym membership with their accommodation. In addition, all first-year students are guaranteed accommodation.
