Edinburgh Napier University - Scotland

Edinburgh Napier University gained university status in June 1992 and is now home to around 12,500 enrolled students. Its campus is predominantly located in the east end of Edinburgh and consists of a variety of buildings, from historic castles to converted schools. The University is known for its commitment to graduate employment and many of its programs include integrated work placements (internships). There are strong collaborations with Edinburgh College of Art, particularly in the area of film education.

Through international partnerships, around 3,000 students study at Napier University in countries such as Hong Kong, Singapore and India. In addition, a dual degree program with the State University of New York gives students the opportunity to earn degrees from both institutions in four years. The University is recognized for its "value added" achievement, which measures students' academic progress compared to their entry level. It also supports employment through initiatives such as "Confident Futures", which aims to provide students with the basic skills they will need in their careers.
