• Journey times from homestays range from 45 to 60 minutes
• Placement fee: US$150 for all accommodation

Downtown Berkeley YMCA Residence

Situated just a stone’s throw from shops, restaurants, theatres, BART and the University of California, Berkeley, this residence offers easy access to amenities and transport links.

• Location: Downtown Berkeley
• Room options: Single rooms with shared bathrooms
• Meals: Self-catering
• Facilities: Free Wi-Fi, communal kitchen, fitness facilities, jacuzzi, sauna, laundry facilities
• Other amenities: Daily housekeeping, towels and bed linen provided, 24-hour security and concierge service
• Availability: All year round
• Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival; otherwise, the $250 deposit will not be refunded
