Compare the total arrangement, not just the weekly figure. Location, transport, contract length, meals, utilities, deposits and what happens during holidays can materially change the real cost.
For younger students or homestays, clarify supervision and house rules in advance. For private accommodation, read the contract and understand payment and cancellation obligations before signing.
