About this institution
University of Hertfordshire – England
The University of Hertfordshire is a modern university with strong links to industry, situated in the town of Hatfield, approximately 35 km north of London. Hosting over 25,000 students from nearly 90 countries, the university is recognised as one of the UK’s most business-focused universities.
In 2015, it was recognised for the quality of its student experience by receiving the Guardian University Award. 95.2 per cent of its graduates find employment or go on to further study within six months of graduation.
The university maintains close partnerships with industry, particularly in the fields of engineering and health sciences. In fact, every British Formula 1 team has a Hertfordshire graduate on its staff. Thanks in particular to its undergraduate programme in paramedic sciences, it is a preferred provider of education for the NHS (National Health Service) in the East of England. Lifelong career and employment support for graduates is provided through the university’s Careers and Placement Service.
